    Langkawi

    Is the biggest of 104 islands that are grouped together. Is taking the name from the russet Eagles that you will spot flying over the beautiful well maintained green scenery. The island is a holiday destination for many Asian countries and also attract tourist and backpackers from all over the World. As Duty-Free island you will find good quality for reasonable prices. There are plenty of things to do, from beaches, jungle trekking, island hopping, waterfall and also some good parties.The island is 25km in length from north to south and 40 km east to west so in about 40m driving you can travel all the island.

    Move around Langkawi

    For move around the Island the best idea is to rent a motorbike or a car. In about 40m driving you will be able to cross all the Island, thank's to the big and clean road that connect the main aerea of the Island. 
    Kuah town is the main city, located in the south. Is the arrival point for most of the ferries and the perfect place if you need banks, medical clinics, dentists, hardware stores and many shopping malls. Is not the place to stay if you are looking for a tropical experience. 
    Pantai Cenang is the touristic hub of the island. It offer nice beach, a wide range of cheap/expensive accommodations, many restaurant, and an active nightlife, with many beach bars and club offering good music and drinks. Is the ideal location for Backpackers.
    Pantai Tengah is right after Cenang is a good place for gastronomic options and the nightlife scene, the quite beach and the wide selection of all inclusive resort are making of Pantai Tengah the perfect destination for young families.
    Other well known area of the Island are the beaches of Pantai Kok and Tanjung Rhu, The Seven Wells Waterfalls, The highest mountain Gunung Raya and the Sky Bridge.

    By Bus: You can book you bus to Kuala Perlis and from there take a ferry boat to Langkawi.
